Extra Strength Lysine Immunity Health supports immune system function, eye and respiratory health in cats. As an important component of many proteins, L-lysine supports antibody, hormone and enzyme production. It also promotes healthy growth and development by supporting the production of collagen. L-lysine and the amino acid L-arginine compete for the same receptors in the body. L-Lysine competes with L-arginine, an amino acid responsible for upper respiratory issues. This formula also features DMG which has been shown to significantly increase immune response. These tasty chicken liver flavored-chews are made with hydrolyzed protein for cats with dietary sensitivities.

    X-strength Lysine Immunity for Cats

    This is my first time purchasing Xtra-strength so not sure of its impact on the cats ...but, the "bits" are lots stiffer/more dense than the fish-shape to break. The kitties will not eat the whole nugget, so I need to break into smaller bits to mix with their wet food. Could a "softer" version be made available?

    The reformulation isn't as good.

    My cat is rejecting the new formula. It doesn't smell the same and is in a huge chunk that he can't chew. I have to cut them, and he still won't eat them half the time. He used to love his "treats". Cats don't like change. If he doesn't get used to it, I'm going to look for a new brand before he is wheezing with crusty eyes. Even if he doesn't accept them, I still have to cut them down every time, which is inconvenient. This used to be a great product, but the reformulation is a thumbs down for us.
