What is Hairball Control used for?

Hairball Control is formulated and recommended by veterinarians to prevent hairballs from forming at the source and to support healthy digestion to help their passage. For general skin health and to minimize the regular formation of hairballs, give 2 chews daily. To support the removal of hairballs, give 4 chews twice daily for up to four days.

Bite-sized Hairball Control chews are made with a hydrolyzed chicken-liver flavor thats both irresistible to cats and appropriate for pets who are sensitive to proteins. These chews are recommended for cats of all sizes and can easily be broken and crumbled over food if needed.

Hairball pastes and gels may be made with oils, fats, herbs, or even petroleum jelly that may have laxative effects. While these may be effective, they can leave a stinky mess in the litterbox.

    Cat Wouldn't Eat

    Unfortunately this product couldn't work for us because it sent my cats running in the opposite direction. I even tried to crush it up and hide it in their food and they wouldn't even touch it.

    My cat loves them!

    My cat loves these treats! I love that they are good for her. I use them as a preventative for hairballs, which she doesn't get too often, but I think they have decreased her tendency for them.
